What is a Patient Education & Awareness Program?

These are targeted communications to MedAdvisor patients with a specific disease or condition aimed at providing education and awareness to help patients seek out appropriate treatment for their condition.

MedAdvisor works with industry partners and NGOs to deliver this information through direct-to-patient communications and help improve patient health.

Program overview

This sponsored program aims to provide education and awareness of the risks associated with untreated high blood pressure, and to encourage patients to take their medication as prescribed or to speak to their doctor if they need a new prescription.

The program consists of 2 messages.

When?

From early October 2022, eligible patients will receive 2 messages over 10 days. 

For which patients?

Messages will be delivered via the app to people aged 18 and over who have had a dispense of perindopril or perindopril/amlodipine in the past 12 months, but have since lapsed in their treatment.
